Fun With Floors….
Posted in The Fam on June 7th, 2006I am a little late with this post, and I apologize, but I had good reason. Ya see, 11 months ago the Guru Family moved into a brand new Ryan Home. We have a beautiful hardwood floor. As awesome as a sweet hardwood floor looks, it does have one slight drawback. Wood floors don’t like any liquids being spilled on them. They really don’t like gallons of water being spilled on them. They tend to freak out when that happens.
So, last October we had the floor replaced after a incident invloving a large amount of water ruined our original floor. Wehn the floor was replaced, it wasn’t replaced 100%. Flaw #2 with wood. If you can’t get the same lot number chances are the colors aren’t going to match. I tend to freak out when that happens. So after much deliberation Ryan agreed to re-install the floor again, and that is happening this week thus occupying most of my time. The new floor does look tremendous, however so it was all well worth it. The Gurette, who took Baby Guru to visit her Mimi for the week should be pleasently surprised when she returns on Thursday.
