Bentley Done For The Season
According to a source close to Brown’s center LeCharles Bentley the 2-time Pro Bowler will miss the entire season with a torn patellar tendon in his left knee. He injured the knee in the first play of this morning’s practice. Ironically, Head Coach Romeo Crennel had the Browns dressed only in shoulder pads and helmets to try and avoid the serious injuries the team has faced in the past.

Let’s face it, this is a huge blow to the team. Maybe a good thing about all of this is that it happened early in training camp so the Browns can make a move to bring someone in. With a 2nd year QB and alot of change along the front line Bentley was going to be the anchor. He went to High School at nearby St. Ignatious and played at Ohio State in college. He was the hometown guy that wanted to play for the hometown team. We’ll now have to wait until next season for it to happen.
